Prioritize Self-Discovery.

A journey inward.

Therapy can be hard work: deconstructing what we’ve learned, challenging assumptions and expectations, questioning things we formerly accepted which now may no longer serve us, understanding our layers. And vulnerability can sometimes feel like exposure; it can feel risky and for some may even be seen as weakness. We will move at your pace in your self-exploration, providing space for you to show up as you are without expectation.

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to guide the process with my clients. The work I ask you to do is what I also practice, and I understand how radical a concept it can be to listen internally instead of seeking advice from others. I will help you learn a new way of interacting with yourself and the world around you in an environment of support, compassion and shared humanity.

Explore from the comfort of your own home.

Based in San Francisco, I offer clients in California and Wisconsin 60 minutes a week to attend to themselves and their experiences. My services are offered via teletherapy, eliminating the need for a commute and allowing for you to experience change in your home environment. Our work together is guided by your needs, and if you don’t exactly know what those are, I’m here to help you find out. If you have questions or want to see if we might be a good fit, call or email me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation.

Investment and Session Length.

I offer clients 60 minute virtual sessions at a rate of $160. I believe in my client’s right to choose the frequency and duration of therapy, and, while I highly recommend beginning therapy weekly to maximize effectiveness, rescheduling services is always at my clients’ discretion. I do not accept insurance or provide superbills in order to prevent insurance companies from accessing your records, and requiring unnecessary diagnoses for reimbursements. If you are in need of a sliding scale fee option, please contact me to discuss what may be available.

Good Faith Estimate.

While your engagement in therapy is voluntary and at your discretion, including the frequency and length of services, the United States government now requires therapists to provide cash pay clients with a Good Faith Estimate as part of the No Surprises Act. While I cannot predict the number of sessions you will choose, I am required to provide a Good Faith Estimate and to post the following verbiage.

From the United States government:

‘You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.’
