They want connection, confidence and maybe even a little peace but can’t figure out how to ‘get there.’ Attempting to share their experience with others has left them feeling exposed, and acknowledging their own thoughts and emotions leaves them feeling overwhelmed. They are pros at compartmentalizing.

Whether it’s overbooking their schedules, always saying ‘yes’, making themselves smaller to avoid conflict, or thinking thinking thinking to find the least risky options…nothing is making the worry, sadness and insecurity go away. They’ve been managing this way for so long they can’t imagine what it would be like to do things differently but a part of them holds hope it might be possible.

I help my clients increase self trust and consider what they could invite into their lives if they didn’t have to work so hard to avoid their feelings and others’ reactions. Living life with more calm, confidence and clarity is possible.
